Celebrities Seek Chiropractic
A recent internet article gave some interesting information on one of the world's most famous faces. For years we've seen and heard in the news about the health challenges faced by Elizabeth Taylor. We've all seen photos of her in a wheel chair and heard about her battle with prescription drugs she had been taking for back pain. It was wonderful to read in this piece that she had sought out the care of a chiropractor with great results. She credits her chiropractor with rehabilitation and recovery from back problems. Miss Taylor is hardly the only celebrity to utilize chiropractic care to regain and maintain her health. Other chiropractic regulars include Warren Beatty, James Earl Jones, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jack Nicholson, Julie Andrews, Jane Seymour, and Mel Gibson.

The comical response is, "So don't do that!!!" If what makes "it" hurt is standing, sitting, or especially, breathing, we are in trouble. For back pain sufferers, all these things and many others are painful. Back pain sufferers are forced to change their lives when they are "down in the back". Favorite activities become memories and busy people can be stopped dead in their tracks by back pain.

FATIGUE-I Need A Tune-Up
"Doctor, I go to bed tired and I wake up tired." A common complaint in most doctors' offices. The usual examination checks for diabetes, hypoglycemia, anemia and other conditions which cause chronic tiredness. Often, no definite physiological disease can be pinpointed. The patient is left with a frustrated feeling and is still tired.

Startling News-MIGRAINE
Between 20 and 45 million people in the United States suffer form headaches each year. According to U. S. News and World Report magazine, this accounts for over $2 BILLION dollars spent for over-the-counter medications and 50 million doctor office visits. There are 157 million workdays and over a million school days lost because of headaches. Migraines, a common, very severe type of headache are responsible for at least half of those missed days, medications taken, and medical office visits made.
